Wrap up of this past weekend

This weekend was pretty busy, getting ready for Christmas, getting ready for the Jets game and actually going to the game. If you haven’t heard, whether it be because you live in a cave, do not like or follow football, or simply do not care, (I’m going to report anyway) that the Jets killed the Seahawks 37-14. It was a great game, especially for Jets fans. I can not stress how well the Jets’ defense has been playing this year. The offense was really firing on all cylinders also yesterday. Chad Pennington had some great touch passes, and spread the ball around very well. Next week the Jets take on the New England Patriots. I honestly believe that the Jets can beat them, especially if they approach the game the way I saw them play the Seahawks yesterday. Next week is the Jets’ last home game of the season, and hence the last tailgate of the season as well, which really is half the fun of going to the games.
On another note, last night into early this morning we Long Islanders saw out first snowfall of the season. There was about 4 maybe 5 inches of snow on the ground outside of my apartment when I got up this morning. Thanks to the snow, it took me almost an hour and a half to get to work, which is about an hour more than a normal day. Grrrrr…
