So I was reading an article over at the New York Magazine’s site about Taking Back Sunday. I stumbled upon this article because I was reading about local punk bands. If you didn’t already know, Taking Back Sunday is from Amityville, right here on Long Island.
As I was reading, I came across where Eddie …practiced when he played in his “kid bands”—Mind Over Matter, Clockwise, the Inside, and the much-missed the Movielife. and it struck me: back when I was the drummer in The Problematics (now defunct), we played a few shows with Mind Over Matter. Not that I remember any of the guys in the band, or that I am a fan of TBS, but small-ish world, huh?

That’s interesting. I’m inclined to be like “Whoa, that’s cool,” since I like TBS a lot, but then it’s like you said, you don’t remember him, and he wasn’t in TBS then anyway, etc. But I still am kinda like “whoa.”
