Paul Hackett has decided that “There are other opportunities that I would like to explore at this point in time.” and Head Coach Herman Edwards has accepted his resignation. On paper, it appears that there are not any hard feelings between Hackett and Edwards nor between Hackett and the New York Jets organization. Coach Edwards noted that the Jets “will now begin the process of identifying and interviewing candidates for the position with the goal of increasing our offensive productivity and consistency.” The full story is online at
